Rob Gansl Sales Executive

Robert Gansl is a licensed real estate agent with a rich and diverse background. Born in Djakarta, Indonesia in 1956, his family migrated to Australia from Italy in 1964, eventually settling in the Wollongong area in 1970. Robert completed his Higher School Certificate at Port Kembla High School in 1976, where he excelled as the school’s vice-captain and senior athletics champion.

After completing high school, Robert pursued a tertiary education and graduated from Newcastle University in 1983 with a degree in Architecture. He began his professional career as an architect, working for various architectural firms over a span of 10 years. During this time, Robert gained valuable experience working on a wide range of projects, from residential properties to multi-story commercial developments. Additionally, he served as a consultant on significant conservation projects in the Wollongong area.

Following his successful tenure in the field of architecture, Robert held supervisory positions with a major international hotel chain. In these roles, he managed a team of twenty staff members and oversaw the day-to-day operations of multiple food and beverage outlets. Simultaneously, Robert ran his own architectural design practice and supported his wife in developing her own business by being a dedicated stay-at-home dad to their children during their formative years.

With a combined experience of 24 years in the real estate industry, Robert has gained immense respect from both his peers and clients for his unwavering honesty and professional approach to his work. In 2009, he made a return to real estate and is now a valued member of the highly successful team at Illawarra Estate Agents. His wealth of experience, strong work ethic, and genuine enthusiasm for the real estate profession make him an integral part of the team.

Outside of his professional life, Robert is happily married and a proud father of two beautiful adult children. He is known for being a dedicated family man who values the importance of maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
